January’s Coalition Meeting will be a Community Planning Meeting to plan our activities for 2017. The meeting will be from 12-2:30pm on Friday, January 20 at Parks Place. Come lend your voice to the coalition’s work. Lunch will be provided. Prevention through inspiration!

The Other Side of Cannabis 11/17 at RFPL

11/17 Documentary at RFPL. Marijuana today is stronger, and growing evidence shows that THC use comes with risks. Greater Falls Connections will be showing the documentary film “The Other Side Of Cannabis” on Thursday, November 17th from 6:00-8:00pm at Rockingham Free Public Library. The film viewing will be followed by a brief panel discussion. The showing is free and open to the public.

Nov. 18 Coalition Meeting 12pm

Our monthly coalition meeting will be from 12-1:30pm on Friday, November 18 at Parks Place. Join us to discuss updates on recent and upcoming events in the community. This month’s discussion will focus on youth marijuana prevention. Come lend your voice to the coalition’s work. Lunch will be provided.

Annual GFC BBQ July 21!

Join us on Thursday, July 21 at the Rockingham Rec Center for our annual BBQ from 5-7pm. A fun summer potluck to celebrate inspiration, community and prevention. We will be making the official announcement of this year’s ACE award winner. If you would like, you can bring a dish to share. We will provide the hamburgers and hot dogs. Hope to see you there!

Community Meeting on Youth Empowerment on 6/22 at 6PM

In response to the closure of the Bellows Falls branch of the Boys & Girls Club, we want to ensure that all youth will have a place to thrive. A place that primarily focuses on youth leadership and community engagement. How do we create a compassionate space where all are treated equal and everyone’s voice is heard? We are working on creating a new afterschool/summer program that will serve the youth of Bellows Falls VT.

The meeting will take place at the Rockingham Town Hall Lower Theater on Wed. June 22 from 6:00-7:30 PM.

Exploring Natural Highs – Nature Walk

Come enjoy a relaxing walk in the woods lead by Naturalist Kimberly Galandak-O’Connor. Join our conversation about building a healthier community! This is a great opportunity to get connected and meet inspiring and inspired people. Following the walk we will have a delicious picnic dinner.

Dress comfortably for the weather with a water bottle. Delicious food is provided but feel free to bring a blanket or chairs. No pets please, We don’t want to scare any wildlife!
